Writing at AFJ, Al Mauroni, who directs the Air Force Counterproliferation Center, blasts away at five nuclear-proliferation myths contained in the new edition of the Truman Security Briefing Book.

Defense companies are skimping on independent research-and-development spending, according to a Defense News analysis.

The US government is for the first time acknowledging the existence of Area 51, a top secret US military and CIA facility in the Nevada desert. George Washington University’s National Security Archive obtained a CIA history of the U-2 spy plane program.
